"I'm loved, I'm valued, and I'm capable of achieving balance in my life. I can learn to eat well. I can exercise. I can express gratitude for the simple act of being able to breathe in and breathe out. I can move away from darkness and depression to light and hope. I can be happy with who I am, not what I should be, or what I might have been, or what someone tells me I must be.
I am me, the true me; you are you, the true you- and that's good. That's beautiful. That's enough."
-Janet Jackson

I love Being a Stay @ Home Mom

I get alot of comments and lol, some concern about me staying home mom... I figured I'd address some of the questions and concerns...

  • Yes, I stay home with my 3 year old
  • No, I do not work... A 9-5 that is
  • Yes, I am a part-time student

Paying $678 a month for childcare was not ideal anymore, so my husband and I decided that I should stay home and home school our child. My son gets excellent schooling (compliments of mom) He gets my undivided attention. My husband gets breakfast, packed lunches, and hot dinners.
The house is clean when he gets home and so is the laundry.

I still attend school and accomplish all the things I have on my goal list...
My husband makes sure I have my mini spa days to show me his appreciation...
Being a "housewife/stay-at-home-mom" is just an added bonus...

Mommy Time Out

I have decided to put myself in TIME OUT... March has really lived up to it's name...
"March Madness"...

As a SAHM (stay at home mom) it is important not to have a nervous break down, because then nothing would get done... I wonder how my husband and son would survive if I went away for a few days... Scary thought... But oh well since I can't get away, bed time is an hour earlier tonight and
I will be soaking with a glass of wine...
